As one of the most successful crossover electronic artists, Illenium is slowly dominating the genre with his innovative and forward-thinking approach, incorporating electronic, alternative rock, dubstep, indie, and pop-tinged bass elements into electronic music. Born Nicholas Daniel Miller, Illenium has proven himself to be one of the most accomplished DJs of his generation. Aside from a Grammy nomination for his 2022 album, "Fallen Embers," Illenium has had success with his critically acclaimed EPs and albums.
Miller began dabbling in music production in 2008 and has since steadily honed his craft. He relocated to Denver and dropped his first self-titled EP in 2013. His second EP, "Risen," came out the year after. Having built up a considerable following due to the success of his EPs, remixes, and singles, he released his debut album, "Ashes," which had immediate success. Among Billboard's charts, this album peaked at #6 on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums and #19 on the Heatseekers Albums. Following the success of his debut album, he released his second studio album, "Awake," in 2017. The album reached its highest position on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums list and debuted at 106th on the Billboard 200.
This 2023, the 32-year-old DJ will be releasing another album following his ground-breaking Grammy-nominated "Fallen Embers," much to fans' excitement. In conjunction with the release of his highly-anticipated fifth studio album, the Denver-based artist will be embarking on a concert tour which includes a two-night show at Gorge Amphitheatre on Memorial Weekend (May 27 and 28). On the second night, an incredible lineup of artists will grace the event, including Dabin, Acraze, Nurko, Imanu, Tsu Nami, and Friendzone.
