The much-awaited rock festival now adds a third show with headliner The Highwomen! They are set to conquer the iconic Gorge Amphitheatre on Sunday, 11th June 2023! In 2019, the country music world was blessed with an incredible star-packed quartet known as the Highwomen. The group comprises Grammy-Award-winning singer-songwriter Bradi Carlisle, renowned country songstress Natalie Hemby, pop country icon Maren Morris, and esteemed singer-songwriter and fiddle player Amanda Shires. These fantastic women have phenomenal solo careers of their own, as well as achieving incredible accolades. Carlisle, who’s also spearheaded the Echoes Through the Canyon, is a nine-time Grammy Award-winning singer. Meanwhile, Hemby has also won two Grammy Awards for co-writing A Star is Born’s “I’ll Never Love Again” and her work in “Crowded Table” in 2020.
Maren Morris recently took over North America by storm with a massive tour covering numerous major cities. She promoted her latest chart-performing effort, Humble Quest, which peaked at number 2 on the Top Country Albums chart. Lastly, Grammy-Award-winning artist Amanda Shires recently dropped her groundbreaking seventh album, Take It Like a Man. The album entered four US Billboard charts, including the Heetseakers, where she placed at a cool number 5.
In 2019, The Highwomen dropped their self-titled debut album through Elektra Records. The record topped the Country and Folk Albums chart and peaked at number 10 on the Billboard 200. The groundbreaking effort spawned several singles, including “Redesigning Women,” “Crowded Table,” and “Highwomen.”
The following year, the captivating quartet released a collaboration single with Yoa and Sheryl Crow titled “Hold On.” The same year, they won multiple awards, including three Americana Music Honors & Awards and a CMT Award. In 2021, “Crowded Table” won Best Country Song at the Grammy Awards.
