The Dave Matthews Band is back for its traditional 3-day stay at the Gorge for Labor Day. This will be the first night that they'll play at the iconic Quincy, Washington venue. If you're only able to come out for one day, this might be the best one. It's taking place on Friday, August 29th.
There are a few reasons why this DMB show will be better than the Saturday and Sunday versions. Number one, everyone's going to be fresh! That includes the crowd and, of course, Dave Matthews and the band. Sure, they might keep a couple of Aces up their sleeve for Saturday and Sunday, so you might miss one or two of your favorite tracks. Still, this promises to be the most powerful show of the bunch. You won't have to deal with people in the crowd who maybe haven't taken a shower in a while! Click that get tickets button now to be a part of the Friday show for the DMB at the Gorge.

Kicking off Labor Day weekend at the Gorge, listening to "The Space Between", "Crash Into Me," or maybe even "Some Devil" is going to make it hard for the other days in the weekend to be equally memorable! If you only have a chance to catch one of the days of the event, as mentioned, Friday might be a great choice. The crowd and the band will be fresh still. Also, you won't have to deal with as much garbage around the grounds. Although, the staff does an amazing job of keeping "living conditions" decent within the Gorge Amphitheatre for the 3 days. You'll want to arrive early on this Friday regardless. That's going to give you a chance to find a spot near the main stage.
The crowd can get hectic once the show starts. That's obvious: you're having a chance to see one of your favorite bands sing live! If you're just here on Friday, arriving early allows you to do a walkabout. There are plenty of things, from food to merch, that are going to be made available in stands throughout the grounds. These walkabouts are certainly part of the experience that you don't want to pass up on.
The good thing about picking one day again and having that day be the first one is that you'll be able to catch everything! Who knows, maybe on Saturday, they'll run out of pretzels or that Dave Matthews Band T-shirt with the 2025 summer tour logo. That Elephant is unique to this year, so if you're looking for something to take home as a souvenir, some of these graphics commemorating the DMB's summer tour are likely going to be in high demand. Arrive early and take everything in, including the elements besides the music. Of course, you'll end the night with one of the best rock bands of all time. What's not to love about those Labor Day plans? It's Labor Dave around here, and it's going to be epic starting on this Friday, August 29th. Hit that get tickets button now!
