After an epic fourteen-country tour of the UK and Europe, Dave Matthews Band is preparing for a summertime road trip across the United States of America. Beginning in Florida on May 22nd, they will be performing at all your favorite venues with their funky mix of songs and singalongs. They've done it so many times, and every time they hit up venues like Wisconsin's Alpine or Valley Saratoga's renowned SPAC or wherever, they always make it super special. At the height of the jaunt, you'll find them performing at the Geroge Amp for a three-show special and one helluva finale. What makes the last three shows super special is that every time they come through, they sell out, and it's the perfect way to celebrate Labor Day Weekend.
DMB is also making this a green tour, unlike any other summer tour they've done before. As part of their "On the Road to Zero Waste" initiative, they're teaming up with Live Nation to come up with innovative ways to continue the music without harming the environment.
They're not just any ordinary band; they're the second-highest-selling band in concert history, and complimenting that fact is that they've sold over 25 million tickets and 38 million CDs and DVDs, which is mind-blowing in itself. Their commitment to showmanship is exceptional and something many try to aspire to.
And there's no sign of them slowing down. The world is going gaga over their newest masterpiece, "Walk Around the Moon," and they're getting accolades like there's no tomorrow. While Pitchfork describes it as "tight-knit and tender," the Associated Press finds value in describing it as everything from "small and intimate" to "brassy and political." They go so far as to sing along to songs like "The Only Thing," "Monsters," and the groovy "Break Free."
Believe us when we say these seasoned rockers can still put on a musical extravaganza that will have you bopping along and dancing the night away. Keep in mind that every performance by this great band is an opportunity to see something truly unforgettable, and every fan is going nuts tryna get tickets. So, grab your tickets right here and now and spread the word!!!
