This year, they have a massive roster of cities lined up for the Summer outing. Including a Labor Day weekend run, it’s an annual tradition that fans of Dave Matthews Band greatly anticipate.
This year’s trek will see the band’s continued partnership with Nature Conservancy's Plant a Billion Trees initiative. Working together with Live Nation, the band takes into heart sustainable concert practices, promoting eco-friendliness and proper waste management at their shows. Their website exclaims, “THE ROAD TO ZERO WASTE CONTINUES IN 2025.”
Over the last years, the band has shared that they’ve “diverted 90% of waste generated by fans from landfills – with some participating venues reaching 99% landfill diversion rate,” and hopes to continue this positive trend this time around. At their shows, you’ll see zero-waste collection sites, green teams that collect waste, and minimal amounts of single-use plastic. They also make sure that concessionaires offer green alternatives to plastic. There will be water refill booths, composting, and food donations as well. These steps ensure that they’re doing their part to protect the planet while rocking out in the best way possible.
Up for a camping trip at The Gorge, it’s the best show to head out for a road trip! Rock out to their hits with the whole squad. Surrounded by lush greenery and mountains, it’s the best place for breathtaking concert nights. As the sun sets, Dave Matthews Band is down to get wild.
